According to preliminary data, a total of 56 land plots were illegally provided. During the investigation, one of the specialists from the Aitmatov branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography (E.A.T.) attempted to evade criminal liability by offering a bribe to a security service employee. On January 20, 2026, he was caught red-handed while handing over 100,000 soms.
The detainee is currently in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing within the framework of the initiated criminal case, aimed at clarifying all the circumstances of the case and identifying other officials who may be involved in this corruption scheme.
