In Bishkek, a man was stabbed while trying to defend a woman

According to their reports, at 7:05 AM, the duty station received information from a medical facility that a 30-year-old citizen, A.K., had been hospitalized with a wound to his left shoulder.
Upon arrival at the scene, the investigative team found that the incident occurred near one of the cafes on Selsovetskaya Street. A.K., witnessing an unknown man beating his wife, attempted to intervene. In response to his actions, the aggressor stabbed him twice in the left shoulder and quickly fled the scene.
After the attack, the victim sought medical assistance, where he received the necessary care.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under the article "Hooliganism" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During operational-search activities, the suspect was identified and detained — a 22-year-old citizen, A.A.
The suspect was taken to the investigative authorities and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek. A pre-trial investigation is underway, and necessary examinations have been appointed.
