In Bishkek, a suspect in a car theft from a parking lot has been detained

In Bishkek, employees of the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs detained a man suspected of stealing from a car. This information was provided by the press service of the department.

A resident of the capital, known as D.S., filed a report with the police. She stated that on January 10, an unknown person broke the right rear window of her car in the parking lot of one of Bishkek's parks and stole a bag containing personal documents and $2,000. After the theft, the perpetrator fled the scene.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of investigative actions and operational measures, including the use of cameras from the "Safe City" system, the police were able to identify and detain the suspect — A.A., born in 1993. He was taken to the Investigative Service and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The investigation is also looking into a possible connection between the detainee and other similar crimes. Work on the case is ongoing.
