A man threatening with a gun was detained in Bishkek
The incident occurred in the morning of January 14 at the corner of Zhibek Zholu Avenue and Osmonkula Street, where two drivers got into a conflict. One of the passengers recorded a video showing one of the drivers threatening with a gun, pressing it against the windshield and side windows of the other vehicle while making offensive remarks.
This incident has been classified as a violation of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Hooliganism").
Police officers promptly detained the suspect, born in 1975, known as S.F. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
Additionally, a pistol was seized, which, according to preliminary data, was used by the detainee. An examination revealed that it is a gas pneumatic weapon, which has also been sent for further verification.
An investigation is currently underway.
