The incident occurred on January 7, when a woman from the village of Ivanovka approached the police in the Issyk-Ata district. According to her, around noon, her husband beat her. As a result of a medical examination, it was determined that the victim had a closed fracture of the fourth rib on the right with displacement, as well as multiple bruises and abrasions on her body.
According to the laws of Kyrgyzstan, this incident was registered under Article 177 ("Domestic Violence"). The suspect, a man born in 1993 named A.E., was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
An investigation is currently underway.
