Two Men Detained in Kemin on Suspicion of Murder
In the Chui region, law enforcement agencies detained two men suspected of committing murder, according to information provided by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
The police reported that on January 11, 2026, at approximately 13:10, a signal was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Kemin district that a man's body with stab wounds had been found in one of the houses in Kemin.
After registering the incident, an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene. During the inspection, it was revealed that the body of A.A., born in 1960, was found in the house with multiple stab wounds.
The deceased's body was sent to the morgue for necessary forensic examinations.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, which falls under Article 122 (murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, it became known that on the night of January 11, 2026, the deceased was at the house of B.T., where they, along with an acquaintance S.K., were consuming alcoholic beverages. After the crime was committed, S.K. left the scene.
As a result of operational measures, police officers were able to identify and detain the suspects — B.T. and S.K., both born in 1960. They were detained in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
