Murder Occurred in Kemin. Suspects Detained
According to information from the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, on January 11, 2026, at 13:10, a signal was received at the internal affairs department of the Kemin district reporting that a dead man with stab wounds had been found in one of the houses in the city of Kemin.
After registering the incident, an investigative operational group was sent to the scene. During the examination, it became known that the body of the man, a citizen A.A., born in 1960, was discovered with multiple stab wounds. The corpse was sent to the morgue for a forensic examination.
In connection with these circumstances, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code.
The investigation established that on the night of January 11, the deceased was at the home of citizen B.T. along with him and their acquaintance S.K., where they were consuming alcoholic beverages. After the crime was committed, S.K. left the scene.
As a result of operational search activities, police officers were able to identify and detain the suspects. They turned out to be citizens B.T. and S.K., both born in 1960. The suspects were placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
