In Kemin, two citizens were detained on suspicion of murder

An incident occurred in the Chui region, resulting in the detention of two men suspected of murder. This was reported by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

A signal about the incident was received on January 11 at 13:10. The body of a man born in 1960 was found in one of the houses in the city of Kemin with stab wounds. An investigative team promptly arrived at the scene, and the body was sent to the morgue for a forensic examination.

According to the investigation, on the night of January 11, the deceased was at the home of citizen B.T., where he was drinking alcoholic beverages with him and an acquaintance, S.K. After the incident, one of the men, S.K., fled the scene.

As a result of operational measures, the police were able to identify and detain both suspects - B.T. and S.K., both born in 1960, who were placed in a temporary detention facility.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been opened under Article 122 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The investigation is ongoing.
