The former head of the Tax Service and his deputy were sentenced.

The Bishkek city court has sentenced the former chairman of the State Tax Service, Altynbek Abduvayev, and his deputy, Islambek Kydyrgychov.
The Lenin District Court, in its decision dated December 25, 2025, found A.A.K. guilty under Article 337 Part 3 of the Criminal Code. Based on Article 77 of the Criminal Code, his punishment, consisting of a partial accumulation of imposed fines, amounted to 4000 calculation indicators, which is equivalent to 400,000 soms, and he is also deprived of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.
Deputy Kydyrgychov, K.I.N., was found guilty under the same article and received a fine of 3000 calculation indicators, which amounts to 300,000 soms, also with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
Additionally, T.A.A. was found guilty of several offenses, including Article 41 Part 4 and Article 267 Part 2 of the Criminal Code, and was fined 3300 calculation indicators, which corresponds to 330,000 soms, also with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities.
All three, A.A.K. and K.I.N., were stripped of their special ranks, class ranks, and state awards.

As for the measure of restraint, for A.A.K. and K.I.N., it was changed from detention to a written undertaking not to leave, while for T.A.A. the written undertaking not to leave remained unchanged.
