According to information from the press service of the Patrol Police Department, the incident occurred on January 11 at around 10 a.m. at the "Partner Oil" gas station located at the corner of Rustaveli and Gagarin streets.
Preliminary data indicates that a drunken young man approached the driver of a "DAEWOO Matiz" asking for money. After being refused, he began to show aggression and physically attacked the driver. During the conflict, the car thief pushed the driver, got into his car, and drove away towards the Working Town.
After the incident was reported, search operations were organized in Bishkek. During the chase, the thief attempted to evade the police; however, officers from the 4th company of the Patrol Police Regiment managed to detain him at the intersection of Gagarin and Alykulov streets. It was established that the detainee is a native of the Jalal-Abad region, N. uulu U., born in 2001.
He was taken to the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs for further investigation and necessary actions in accordance with the law.
