In Bishkek, a drunk driver attempting to evade patrol was detained

Employees of the Patrol Police Service in Bishkek detained the driver of a Lexus vehicle who was attempting to evade law enforcement.

As clarified by the Patrol Police Service, this vehicle attracted the attention of the patrol due to its suspicious maneuvers on the road. Ignoring demands to stop, the driver grossly violated traffic rules and created dangerous situations for others.

As a result of swift actions, the police were able to stop the vehicle. Upon inspection, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. A protocol for the offense was drawn up against him, and the vehicle was placed in a towing lot.

The Patrol Police Service noted that operating a vehicle under the influence is one of the most serious violations and carries strict penalties under current legislation.
