In Bishkek, a drunk driver staged a provocation during a document check - UPSM

The incident occurred in Bishkek when officers from the Patrol Service of the Police conducted a raid and stopped a Hyundai vehicle, driven by a man showing clear signs of alcohol intoxication. This was reported by the press service of the Patrol Service.

According to the agency, when asked to provide documents, the driver began to behave aggressively: he threw tantrums, hit himself, lay down on the road, and even claimed that the police officers allegedly inflicted bodily harm on him. Additionally, he attempted to pretend to be asleep.

Despite his provocations, the Patrol Service officers acted fully in accordance with the law. A medical examination at a narcological facility confirmed that the man had indeed consumed alcohol.

The vehicle was placed in a specialized impound lot, and a report on the offense was drawn up against the driver.

The Patrol Service emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic rules, urging drivers not to endanger not only themselves but also those around them.
