In the Ton district, as part of acclimatization activities, employees of the Regional Acclimatization and Fish Breeding Department of the Fishery Complex Department released juvenile sturgeon into Lake Issyk-Kul.
Representatives of the Tourist and Environmental Police, scientific staff from the Institute of Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, employees of the Ton District Veterinary Administration, and local residents participated in the stocking process.
The total number of released juveniles amounted to 3 million, which were distributed across the fishing areas of Lake Issyk-Kul:
• Area 18 — 500 thousand juveniles
• Area 7 — 500 thousand juveniles
• Area 13 — 1 million juveniles
• Area 40 — 1 million juveniles
