In the rivers flowing into Issyk-Kul, 582 thousand trout fry have been released

On March 12, a team from the regional acclimatization and fish breeding department in the Ton district, operating under the auspices of the fishery complex department, conducted the release of juvenile Issyk-Kul trout into rivers that flow into Lake Issyk-Kul. This was reported by the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture.
The event was attended by various organizations, including the Ton District State Administration, the tourism and environmental police, as well as ecological and technical inspections. Scientific staff from the Institute of Biology of the National Academy of Sciences and representatives of the Issyk-Kul State Reserve were also present.
As part of the stocking, a total of 582,000 juvenile Issyk-Kul trout were released, distributed among the following rivers:

• 80,000 juveniles into the Ak-Terek River;
• 150,000 into the Ton River;
• 50,000 into the Kekilik River;
• 50,000 into the Tamga River;
• 50,000 into the Jetty-Oguz River;
• 50,000 into the Karakol River;
• 32,000 into the Kara-Suu River;
• 60,000 into the Zhyrgalan River;
• 60,000 into the Tyup River.
