As part of the fish stocking activities conducted by the employees of the Fisheries Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, 5,000 fry of Issyk-Kul trout were released into the rivers Suusamyr and Kokomerен, located in the Suusamyr Valley of the Chui region.
Fish stocking is one of the effective methods for restoring and increasing fish stocks in natural water bodies, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, such activities positively impact the development of the fishing industry and open new economic opportunities for the local population. The Fisheries Department plans to continue regularly conducting fish stocking in water bodies in the future.
