Kyrgyzstan and India Discussed Cooperation in the Energy Sector
During these meetings, the prospects for the implementation of investment projects in the energy sector of the Kyrgyz Republic were discussed. Topics of conversation covered the development of hydropower, renewable energy sources, the coal industry, as well as the modernization of energy infrastructure and the introduction of digital solutions.
As a result of negotiations with KEC International Limited and CraticAI Services Private Limited, two memoranda of understanding were signed, aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of energy and implementing joint projects.
On March 21, 2026, the minister visited the solar power plant of NTPC Limited located in Noida. He familiarized himself with modern electricity generation technologies and new energy storage methods, including energy accumulation systems.
