The Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Taalaybek Ibraev, is participating in the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, which is taking place in India.
It is reported that during the forum he spoke at a panel session dedicated to the integration of renewable energy sources, modernization of energy systems, and development of regional cooperation in the energy sector.

In his speech, Ibraev emphasized that one of the main challenges in transitioning to a new energy format is the need to ensure the flexibility of energy systems in the context of increasing the share of renewable energy sources (RES). He highlighted the importance of creating energy storage systems, modernizing network infrastructure, and implementing modern balancing mechanisms.

The importance of regional integration was also highlighted, as it contributes to increasing the resilience of energy systems, reducing the risks of electricity shortages, and more efficient use of resources.

Kyrgyzstan's participation in the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 underscores the country's active involvement in the global energy agenda aimed at strengthening international cooperation, attracting investments, exchanging advanced technologies, and promoting sustainable solutions in energy.
