
During the meeting held in Geneva, the parties discussed issues related to Kyrgyz-Swiss interaction, including political dialogue, trade, and economic cooperation, as well as details of the upcoming Cooperation Program for 2026–2029.
Kulubaev congratulated Switzerland on its upcoming chairmanship in the OSCE in 2026 and expressed the intention to continue active cooperation within this organization. The parties noted the positive development of bilateral relations and emphasized the need to increase high-level contacts.
Significant attention was given to issues of expanding trade and economic ties, attracting investments, as well as cooperation in the field of tourism and the implementation of joint projects.
Additionally, the participants exchanged views on sustainable development in mountainous regions and relevant international issues. Following the negotiations, it was decided to continue strengthening Kyrgyz-Swiss partnership and developing a constructive dialogue, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
