The initiator of this draft law was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to Sultan Akhmatov, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, the halal industry in the Kyrgyz Republic is actively developing, and the number of enterprises in this sector is increasing every year.
He added that with the growth of consumer demand for halal products and services, there is a need for stricter control, as well as the establishment of clear legal norms for the effective regulation of the halal industry, which will help protect consumer rights and maintain fair competition.
