The Housing Committee approved the bill on improving legal norms in the halal industry in the first reading.

- As part of its work, the Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development of the Jogorku Kenesh approved the draft law "On Amendments to the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic" in the first reading.

The initiator of this draft law was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Sultan Akhmatov, presented information about the project.

The aim of the draft law is to establish and improve legal norms related to the halal industry.

According to Akhmatov, there is an active development of the halal industry in Kyrgyzstan.

He emphasized that "with the increasing demand for halal products and services, as well as to protect consumer rights and promote fair competition, there is a need for stricter control and the development of clear legal norms to regulate the halal industry."
