Former head of the GKNB of Bishkek Eldar Jakypbekov is suspected of corruption

On February 16, the Primorsky District Court granted the request of the head of the investigative department of the Military Prosecutor's Office, who leads the interagency investigative group.

According to the court's press service, the former head of the GKNB Department for Bishkek, Eldar Jakypbekov, is suspected of committing corruption offenses under Article 336, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

He is currently in custody in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department until April 15.
