The Jogorku Kenesh adopted amendments to the Law "On Investments" in the first reading
Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Mederbek Tumanov noted that the purpose of developing this document is to eliminate legal conflicts. The changes proposed in the new version are intended to accurately reflect the current legislation and comply with the principles of legal regulation in the field of investments.
In addition, during the meeting, the draft law "On Amendments to the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Non-Tax Revenues" was also reviewed and adopted in the first reading. Like the previous one, this draft law was also initiated by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Deputy Minister of Finance Ruslan Suynaliev indicated that the development of this draft law was prompted by the need to fulfill the instruction of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. This is related to the implementation of the Action Plan for the introduction of the State Target Program "Development of the Justice System for 2023-2026," which was approved by the President's decree dated March 3, 2023, No. 47. The main task is to create alternative methods for paying state duties and fines.
