The Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh approved the bill on non-tax revenues

During a recent meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of finance, budget, entrepreneurship, and competitiveness, the bill "On Amendments to the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Non-Tax Revenues," proposed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, was discussed.

Ruslan Suynaliev, the First Deputy Minister of Finance, emphasized that this bill aims to create alternative methods for repaying loans.

“Currently, Article 140 of the mentioned code states that the process of repaying state loans is carried out in soms. To simplify this process, it is proposed to make changes that allow repayment through terminals, ATMs, and online services,” he noted.

Deputy Dastan Jumabekov asked why the term "other legal banks" is mentioned in the justification of the bill.

“It is clear what state banks and financial-credit institutions are. However, what is meant by other legal banks?” he inquired.

In response, Sanjar Abdygaziev, a member of the board of the National Bank, stated that this refers to institutions that create jobs.

“This includes payment organizers and organizations operating in the field of payment systems,” he clarified.
