A recent investigation by the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan revealed a case of extortion amounting to 3,000 US dollars by investigator Captain of Police "O.G.O." from the village of Nariman, located in the Kara-Suu District of Osh Region.
According to the authorities, "O.G.O." used his official position to extort money from "K.u.O.". A refusal material for a preliminary investigation into a fraud case against the latter was previously registered, which was formalized in December 2024.
It is important to note that the intermediary between "O.G.O." and "K.u.O." was an investigator from the Aravan District of Osh Region, Captain of Police "S.N.S.".
Operational actions conducted by the State Committee for National Security in conjunction with the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs led to the detention of "O.G.O." and "S.N.S." while receiving 1,600 US dollars. Both suspects have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
