
In 2025, Kyrgyzstan focused on developing the tourism sector. Government agencies held a series of meetings and events, and actively facilitated the country's participation in 28 international tourism exhibitions and info tours. Tour operators from countries such as Malaysia, Austria, Belarus, Russia, Mongolia, Germany, and Japan participated in these events.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, announced at a press conference that 56 events aimed at promoting the country's tourism potential were organized as part of the strategic tourism plan.
As a result of 2025, Kyrgyzstan became a laureate of the international tourism award in Russia, receiving recognition from the reputable publication Russian Travel, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.
