The contribution of the tourism industry to Kyrgyzstan's GDP was 4.3 percent - Januzakov

According to information voiced by the director of the Tourism Support and Development Fund, Adilet Januzakov, on the air of Radio Sputnik, the contribution of the tourism sector to the gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan reached 4.3% in 2025. This figure is higher compared to the same period in 2024.

Januzakov emphasized the importance of considering tourism development from an economic perspective. He noted that government initiatives are aimed at the rational use of natural and landscape resources, with a focus on their preservation and enhancing tourist attractiveness.

Additionally, the head of the fund reported a significant increase in the number of tourists visiting Kyrgyzstan: about 10 million people chose this country for recreation and travel.

Adilet Januzakov also noted that reputable publications such as Lonely Planet positively assess the growth dynamics of the tourism industry in Kyrgyzstan.
