Former head of the State Tax Service Abduvaporov and his deputy Kydyrgychov were sentenced

Since their arrest, both former leaders have been in the detention center of the GKNB, and their detention has been extended until January 14, 2026.
By the decision of the Lenin District Court of Bishkek on December 25, 2025, Abduvayev and Kydyrgychov were found guilty of abuse of office under Article 337, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
The court imposed a fine of 4,000 calculation indicators on Abduvayev, which amounts to 400,000 soms, to be transferred to the state budget.
Kydyrgychov received a fine of 3,000 calculation indicators — 300,000 soms.
Both former officials were also stripped of the right to hold certain positions or engage in specific activities.
Another defendant in the case, T.A.A., was also found guilty of abuse of office and illegal trafficking in weapons and ammunition, as provided for in Articles 41, Part 4, 337, Part 3, and 267, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The court imposed a fine of 330,000 soms on him, along with the deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
In addition, Abduvayev and Kydyrgychov were stripped of their special ranks, class ranks, and state awards.
The measure of restraint in the form of detention for both was changed to a subscription to not leave the country until the verdict comes into legal force, while for T.A.A. this measure remained the same.
