Kyrgyzstan Strengthens Veterinary and Sanitary Control. Who and What Will Be Affected by the Tightening Measures
The measures taken are in accordance with the requirements of Section 2 "Risk Analysis" and Subsection 2.1 "Risk Analysis for Import" of the international Code of Health for Terrestrial Animals, as well as in accordance with Article 13 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Veterinary Medicine," which implies the protection of the veterinary and sanitary environment of the country.
According to the information from the agency, these measures are aimed at maintaining epizootic well-being, improving veterinary and biological safety, protecting public health, and ensuring food security in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry urges citizens and business entities to strictly adhere to veterinary legislation and sanitary requirements.
