Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Azat Kozubekov presented a detailed report on monetary policy to the participants. In his report, he analyzed both internal and external factors affecting the consumer price index and shared forecasts for inflation expectations in the near future. He emphasized that coordinated efforts of fiscal and monetary measures are necessary to ensure price stability,” the press service reports.
Amangeldiev noted that in the context of economic growth, the Cabinet is focused on maintaining the purchasing power of the population.
“Economic development must be accompanied by strict control over inflationary processes. Our task is to minimize the impact of external factors on the domestic market, especially concerning essential goods,” added the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet.
As a result of the meeting, Amangeldiev instructed the relevant state bodies to develop measures to ensure price stability as soon as possible, paying special attention to food security and filling the domestic market with domestic products.
