Deputy Head of the National Bank Azat Kozubekov presented a report on monetary policy, analyzing both internal and external factors affecting the level of consumer prices. He also voiced forecasts for inflation expectations in the near future.

Kozubekov noted that coordinated work between fiscal and monetary policy is necessary to maintain price stability.

After listening to the report and the opinions of the participants, Amangeldiev emphasized that despite high economic growth, a key task for the Cabinet of Ministers remains ensuring the purchasing power of citizens.

“Economic growth must go hand in hand with strict control over inflationary processes. We need to minimize the impact of external shocks on the domestic market, especially concerning essential goods,” he noted.
As a result of the meeting, government agencies were instructed to urgently develop measures to ensure price stability, with an emphasis on food security and saturating the market with local products.
In conclusion of the meeting, Daniyar Amangeldiev stressed that the heads of departments bear personal responsibility for the timely implementation of measures aimed at ensuring macroeconomic stability.
