Daniyar Amangeldiev instructed to ensure price stability
In Bishkek, a working meeting was held under the leadership of Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Kyrgyzstan. The main topic of discussion was the current inflation situation in the country, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Present at the meeting were heads of relevant ministries and agencies, as well as representatives of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
The Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, Azat Kozubekov, presented a detailed analysis of monetary policy. During his report, he highlighted both external and internal factors affecting the consumer price index and provided forecasts for inflation expectations in the near future. It is important to note that coordinated action between fiscal and monetary authorities is necessary to achieve price stability.
After listening to the report and the opinions of the meeting participants, Amangeldiev emphasized that in the context of significant economic growth, maintaining the purchasing power of the population is a priority for the government.
"Economic development must go hand in hand with strict control over inflation processes. We need to minimize the impact of external factors on the domestic market, especially concerning essential goods," noted the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
As a result of the meeting, Daniyar Amangeldiev instructed the relevant state bodies to promptly develop measures to ensure price stability, focusing on food security and saturating the domestic market with domestic goods.
In conclusion, Amangeldiev highlighted the importance of personal responsibility among agency leaders for the timely implementation of measures aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability.
