In the Kyrgyz Republic, a decision has been made to impose a six-month ban on the export of limestone-shell rock. This order was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev. The restriction applies to the export of this mineral beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union and takes effect immediately.
The ban covers various forms of limestone-shell rock: unprocessed, coarsely crushed, as well as cut blocks and slabs that have a rectangular or square shape. The EAEU commodity codes for these goods are 2515 11 000 0 and 2515 12 000 0. Government agencies have already been instructed to take measures to prevent the illegal export of these materials abroad.
