Temporary ban on the export of limestone-shell rock from Kyrgyzstan introduced
A temporary ban on the export of limestone-shell rock from Kyrgyzstan has been established for a period of six months. This ban applies to limestone that has been produced or extracted in the territories of the countries that are part of the Eurasian Economic Union. The ban concerns unprocessed or roughly crushed limestone, as well as material that has been cut or divided into blocks or slabs in rectangular or square shapes. This product is classified under codes 2515 11 000 0 and 2515 12 000 0 according to the EAEU Customs Code.
This decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev. Relevant state authorities have also been instructed to take measures to prevent the illegal export of the specified goods.
