Over 40 billion soms allocated to the agro-industrial complex in 2026 – Torobaev

At a meeting in the Jogorku Kenesh, the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev announced that in 2026, the agro-industrial complex of the Kyrgyz Republic will receive over 40 billion soms.
According to the minister, the allocated funds will be directed towards the effective and timely conduct of spring fieldwork, as well as support for farmers. In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers is launching a series of state programs and projects related to investments.

“In the republican budget for 2026, 6 billion soms are planned, with 1.5 billion soms allocated from a special account. Additionally, 11 billion soms will be directed from state investment projects, 14.3 billion soms from capital investments, and 9.3 billion soms from seven state support programs,” added Torobaev.
