The signing of a memorandum of understanding took place in Bishkek between the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Korean Rural Community Development Corporation (KRC). As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, this agreement aims to implement innovative Korean technologies in the management of water and land resources, as well as to modernize irrigation systems and develop rural infrastructure, including "smart village" projects.
It has been established that this cooperation aligns with the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026 and creates incentives for attracting investments and official development assistance (ODA) from the Republic of Korea.
