The illegally privatized land plot of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic has been returned to the state.
According to the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic, a land plot that was previously in private and municipal ownership has been returned to the state.
As part of a criminal case initiated under Article 336, Part 1 "Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, information was revealed about the illegal privatization of land plots belonging to the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result, a plot of 11.2 hectares was returned to the state balance.
According to information, in 1997, the Bishkek city hall adopted resolution No. 107, which allocated a plot in the Karagach grove to the Institute of Forestry and Nut Growing of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic for scientific research. However, since the transfer, this plot was not registered with the registration authorities, which allowed officials to later divide it into parts and sell.
Now, in order to meet the previously established usage goals, this plot has been returned to the state balance after registration.
Currently, operational investigative activities are ongoing in the case to recover other objects that were illegally privatized from the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
