This initiative is aimed at attracting foreign investments to the country.

In Kyrgyzstan, the possibility of introducing long-term visas for foreign investors is being discussed, with a validity period of up to 30 years. The Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the country, Zhalyn Zheenaliev, shared this information.

As Zheenaliev clarified, such visas will be available to those who invest between 300,000 and 400,000 US dollars in the Kyrgyz economy. This initiative aims to improve the investment climate in the republic and strengthen its position in the competition for attracting foreign direct investments on a global scale.

He added that in a context where the global volume of foreign direct investments is about 1.2 trillion dollars, Kyrgyzstan is focused on creating more attractive and stable conditions for long-term cooperation with investors.

In addition to providing visa preferences, the state also offers an expanded package of benefits for investors. This includes the allocation of land plots, exemption from customs duties on the import of raw materials and equipment, as well as tax holidays for three types of taxes for up to five years. For large and strategic projects, an extension of tax benefits for another five years is provided.

Currently, these initiatives are in the development stage and require final regulatory approval.
