Investors in Kyrgyzstan may be granted residence permits and tax holidays

The possibility of obtaining a residence permit for foreign investors willing to invest between 300,000 to 400,000 dollars in the economy of Kyrgyzstan is under consideration. This was announced by Zhalyn Zheenaliev, Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the country, in an interview on "Birinchi Radio".

According to Zheenaliev, this initiative is aimed at increasing Kyrgyzstan's competitiveness in attracting foreign investments. In a situation where the total volume of foreign direct investments in the world amounts to about 1.2 trillion dollars, the republic is striving to create the most favorable conditions for investors.

Moreover, he noted that the state offers not only land plots but also various preferential conditions. In particular, investors can expect exemptions from customs duties on raw materials and equipment, as well as tax holidays for three types of taxes for up to five years for large, national, and strategic projects, with the possibility of extending this period for another five years.
