According to statistics, the main sectors receiving investments remain the mining and processing industries. However, according to Zheenaliev, the greatest achievements are observed in the logistics and energy sectors.
He noted that the country is constructing many small hydropower plants and solar power stations, and a wind power station is being built in Balakchy. The implementation of large hotel projects is beginning, which indicates the presence of sustainable development in the region.
“When working with investors, we place special emphasis on projects focused on sustainable development. Our priority task is to protect the ecology of Kyrgyzstan, the rights of workers, and to comply with all necessary standards,” added Zheenaliev.
The Deputy Director of the agency also emphasized that various industrial projects are being implemented on this basis. The participation of international investors in public-private partnership competitions indicates growing trust in this area. He cited the launch of the Münü power station in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation, where investors from the USA, France, the UAE, and other countries are ready to contribute their funds.
