Investors in Kyrgyzstan may be granted visas for 30 years and tax holidays

In Kyrgyzstan, an initiative is being considered to provide long-term visas for foreign investors for a period of 20 to 30 years. This step will be available to those who are ready to invest amounts ranging from 300,000 to 400,000 US dollars into the country's economy. This was announced by Zhalyn Zheenaliev, Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, on the air of "Birinchi Radio."

According to Zheenaliev, this initiative is aimed at increasing Kyrgyzstan's competitiveness in attracting foreign direct investment. In a situation where the global volume of FDI is about 1.2 trillion dollars, the republic seeks to create the most favorable conditions for foreign investors.

He also noted that the government offers not only land plots but also a wide range of benefits. In particular, investors can expect exemptions from customs duties on raw materials and equipment, as well as from three types of taxes for up to five years for large, national, and strategic projects, with the possibility of extending this period for another five years.
