In our country, nine-month courses for training air traffic controllers have been launched, as reported on the radio by the director of the State Agency for Civil Aviation under the Cabinet of Ministers, Daniyar Bostонов.

He noted that young people aged 21 to 28 who have knowledge of the English language can apply for training.

“The courses are free, and all students receive a monthly scholarship of about 70,000 soms. Graduates are guaranteed employment provided they pass the exams successfully. Currently, we are already preparing the second group of air traffic controllers. However, despite the attractive conditions, fully staffing the group is a challenging task due to high requirements, including medical certificates and complex exams on simulators,” Bostонов added.

In addition, he reported that a personnel reserve has been created in the State Agency, and specialists undergo regular training both in the country and with the involvement of foreign specialists. According to Bostонов, improving working conditions, increasing salaries, and state support, including housing provision programs, contribute to retaining personnel in this field.
