Celebrations in Iran Following Reports of Ali Khamenei's Death
Videos are actively circulating on social media showing thousands of cars creating traffic jams in Tehran and other major cities, continuously honking their horns. In these recordings, people are dancing, singing, and setting off fireworks.
At the same time, Iranian state media are publishing videos where dozens of citizens mourn the death of Khamenei.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran. Earlier in Tehran, information about Khamenei's death following a strike on his residence was denied for an entire day.
