At night, the air temperature in Zavkhan, the source of the Zag-Baidrag River, and the valley of the Tes River will be -24…-29°C, in Lake Uvs, the Darhad Basin, and the valley of the Ider River -20…-25°C. In the mountain ranges of Khangai, Khubsugul, and Khentii, as well as in the valleys of the Eg, Uur, Tuul, Terelj, and Kherlen rivers, the temperature will be in the range of -15…-20°C. In the foothills of the Khangai range, the southern part of the Gobi, and on gentle slopes, it will be -1…-6°C, while in other regions, the temperature will vary from -8 to -13°C. During the day in Lake Uvs, the Darhad Basin, and the valley of the Tes River, it will be -13…-18°C, in Zavkhan, the source of the Zag-Baidrag River, and the valley of the Ider River -9…-14°C, in the mountain ranges of Khangai and Khubsugul -4…-9°C. In the Orkhon-Selenge basin and the southern part of the Gobi, the temperature will rise by 9–14°C, in the Dornod-Darhgan steppe, the foothills of the Khangai Mountains, and the northern part of the Gobi — by 3–8°C, while in other areas — by 0–5°C.
Cloudy weather is also expected in Ulaanbaatar. No precipitation is forecasted at night; however, snow and blizzards are possible during the day. At night, the wind will be from the southwest, changing to southwest or northwest during the day, with a speed of 5-10 meters per second and gusts up to 12-14 meters per second. The temperature will fluctuate from -9 to -11°C at night and from 0 to -2°C during the day.
