In Iran, 15 suspects linked to the U.S. and Israel in organizing protests have been detained
The KSI reports that the detained suspects participated in the arson of Islamic seminaries and mosques in the southern province of Hormozgan. They are also charged with the destruction of both state and private property, creating panic and fear among citizens, as well as attacks on military facilities.
Protests in Tehran began in late December against the backdrop of a sharp decline in the national currency and a surge in prices for goods. Iranian authorities announced the suppression of the protests on January 21, after which property confiscations began and businesses supporting the mass protests in the country were closed.
