The President emphasized the importance of the efforts he made for NATO and urged the alliance to act in America's interests.
In early December, the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the opposition leader of Venezuela, María Corina Machado. In January, she presented the award to Trump; however, the Norwegian Nobel Committee stated that such a transfer is impossible, as the prize is inextricably linked to the laureate. Trump has repeatedly emphasized that his actions in the field of peacekeeping deserve recognition.
