
At the Asian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship taking place in Bishkek, two athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Razak Beishkeyev and Amantur Ismailov, have reached the semifinals, according to information published on the UWW website.
Razak Beishkeyev, competing in the 67 kg weight category, will face Iranian wrestler Ahmadreza Mohsen Nejad, while Amantur Ismailov (72 kg) will battle with Almatbek Amanbek from Kazakhstan. Both Kyrgyz wrestlers achieved victories over their opponents from Korea and India, respectively.
The final matches will take place this evening.
It is worth noting that the day before, Aftandil Talaybek uulu, Akjol Mahmudov, and Asan Janishov reached the finals, achieving success at the same championship. Ulan Muratbek uulu and Roman Kim will compete for bronze medals.
