At the international tournament Ahmet Cömert in Istanbul, Kyrgyzstani boxer Omar Livaza won a bronze medal. This was reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It became known that Livaza competed in the weight category up to 65 kilograms and began his competition in the 1/8 finals. In the first two bouts, he confidently won against opponents from Georgia and Turkey, which allowed him to advance to the semifinals.
However, in the semifinals, the Kyrgyzstani suffered a defeat against a boxer from Kazakhstan, which secured him third place in the tournament.
