The Kyrgyz Football Union explained the reasons why some key players were not included in the national team of Kyrgyzstan for the training camps taking place in Turkey.

Under the guidance of the new head coach Robert Prosinečki, the team began its training in Antalya on March 19. The first friendly match took place on March 25, in which the national team lost to Equatorial Guinea with a score of 0:1.

Among those who were not included in the squad for the training camp were defender Tamirlan Kozubaev from Indonesia's Persita and midfielder Odiljon Abdurakhmanov from Vietnam's Thanh Hoa. The KFU informed Sport AKIpress that these players were not called up for the training camp due to safety concerns related to travel. Additionally, forward Joel Kojo from the Iranian club Esteghlal and goalkeeper Erjan Tokataev from Alga are currently recovering from injuries.

Also on the list were midfielder Gulzhigit Alykulov from Dynamo Minsk and forward Ernist Batyrkanov from Dordoi, but they were unable to join the team due to injuries.
