In the run-up to the friendly match against Equatorial Guinea, the Kyrgyzstan national football team faced some unfortunate news: two players will be unable to participate in the game. This information was provided by the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU).

The match will take place today in Antalya, Turkey, starting at 20:00 Bishkek time.

One of the absentees will be midfielder Gulzhigit Alykulov from Dynamo Minsk, who sustained a back injury before flying to Turkey and will not be able to take the field.

Additionally, forward Ernest Batyrkanov from Dordoi was injured in the Kyrgyzstan championship match against the Asia team, which ended with a score of 1:3. He was substituted at halftime due to a hamstring injury.

"In this regard, it was decided to keep him at the club for further examination and treatment," the official KFU statement said.

It is also worth noting that forward Joel Kojo and goalkeeper Erjan Tokataev were not called up for the training camp, as they are in the recovery phase after injuries, as emphasized by the KFU.
