The specialist from Kyrgyzstan has become part of the coaching staff of the Polish team, where he will serve as a consultant.
In November 2024, he was appointed head coach of the Kyrgyzstan national team; however, in September 2025, after the World Championship where the team won a bronze medal, he and his team resigned.
Additionally, two other former coaches of the Kyrgyzstan national teams in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, Azat Erkimbaev and Ruslan Madzhinov, are currently working with the national team of Egypt.
